The Challenge That Started It All

Live streaming is a crowded market — dominated by platforms with deep pockets and massive infrastructure budgets. For a new entrant like SodaLive, competing on features alone isn't enough. The economics have to work from day one.

The problem? Standard cloud infrastructure pricing makes it nearly impossible for smaller platforms to scale sustainably. Every concurrent stream, every minute of media delivery, every session — the costs add up fast, and margins disappear.

SodaLive needed to innovate not just on the product, but on the cost structure underneath it. They needed infrastructure that could deliver the same real-time quality at a fundamentally lower cost — so they could build a business that survives and grows in a market where the big players have near-unlimited resources.

That need became the foundation of Flyntrix Labs.

What SodaLive Needed

To compete with well-funded incumbents, three things had to be true.

Sustainable Unit Economics

Infrastructure costs had to be low enough that the business could scale without burning cash. Standard per-minute cloud pricing wasn't going to work — a fundamentally different cost structure was needed.

Quality That Matches The Big Players

Lower cost can't mean lower quality. Sub-second latency, fluid interaction, and zero buffering — the experience has to match what users expect from established platforms.

Full Platform Control

SodaLive needed to own the experience end-to-end — custom UI, monetization, moderation — not be constrained by a third-party SDK's limitations and pricing.
